Sustainable alternative to gelatinized rice
Rice Cake Flour is a residual gelatinized product that is created during the production of rice cakes for human consumption. A number of rice cakes are rejected, often due to a different shape. These are collected, pre-broken and stored. The rice cakes are then finely ground into Rice Cake flour. Due to its high gelatinization degree, it can help to improve the texture of kibbles or treats and is exceptionally suitable for cold pressed pet food. It also helps to bind other ingredients together, ensuring a more consistent and stable product.
